Meet Licensed Massage Therapist Brian Heck
Brian Heck, LMT, got a late start in massage, having started schooling at the age of 40 in 2013. Previously, he had obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Malone College in 1996. After working a series of unfulfilling jobs and dealing with increasing anxiety due to his uncontrolled OCD, he left the workforce in 2010 to receive treatment that spanned several years. This time of inactivity allowed him to examine his career choice, and he decided to become a massage therapist so that he could help others feel better in a fulfilling new career. Schooling proved to be difficult, as Brian had to overcome his social insecurities and OCD concerns as he worked in clinic to hone his skills. Through perseverance, he finished school and obtained his license in 2014. Since then, he worked for a year at a chiropractor's office before joining Ashley at Open Arms in January 2016. Currently, he specializes in relaxation and therapeutic massage, with plans to attend seminars about myofascial release in the near future.
Meet Licensed Massage Therapist Cassady Palmer
Cassady has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2016, graduating from The Healing Arts Institute in 2015.
She, as of 2018, expanded her training and knowledge in Prenatal Massage. She has found a new love in working on expecting mothers and hopes to really bring comfort and relaxation into those clients, as well as everyone else who is on her table.
She chose to become a massage therapist after she began receiving massages herself since the age of 16 to bring more positivity and relaxation into her life.
Cassady chose Open Arms to be apart of because of the family like qualities that the therapists share between one another.
